​​It is a pleasure to serve as your State Senator. I am pleased to have retained my seniority in the Senate and am honored to be serving on several important committees- including being the Chairman of the Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection Committee. The current session has seen me working on important issues like the recent right to life legislation and the freedom of religious expression bill, as well as the budget.

As many of you know this is an election year and I have filed for re-election. However, I feel it is my sworn duty to serve as your Senator first during this important legislative session. As such, I will not be officially opening up my campaign until after this session ends at midnight on April 15th.
